The Frenchtown Lions need your
old Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids. Yes that's right, your eye
prescription from 1986, even
mounted in those trendy round tortoise shell peepers of the day, may
actually help someone else see better. The lenses can be reused to make
a new pair of glasses for someone less fortunate. Please bring your old
glasses and hearing aids to one of two Frenchtown Lions collection
points sooner rather
than later. The boxes look like blue and gold mailboxes, well they are
actually, and can be found near the entrance of the IGA and on the
corner of Bridge and South Harrison streets in Frenchtown.

The Frenchtown Lions Club Welcomes You
The Frenchtown Lions Club was formed in 1936 by
civic minded community members. As part of the international Lions
organization, the club serves to raise funds to improve eyesight and
eye health globally. Locally the club freely contributes to the
needs of the Frenchtown community including fire and flood relief,
various civic programs and community based festivities for children and
grown-ups alike. The Lions invite all residents of Frenchtown and the
surrounding community to get involved. It's your community, why not get
involved and help make it what you want it to be?
